Y on the Fly Week Seven

Y on the Fly knows that the key to fun is being healthy! This week students were taught how to make pipsqueak sandwiches and the benefits of cucumbers.

McCormick’s seasonings used this week included oregano, garlic salt and basil.

Students also learned a new game called Coloring our Food. Students were instructed to run to different color cones then freeze. Once students froze, they had to say as many healthy foods that related to the cone’s color.

Other activities included Hungry Fox, Dash and Dine, Hula Hoop Challenge, Tic Tac Toes and stretch sessions.
