We are pleased to announce that on March 26, ​2018 ​Jayson Green joined the Y in Central Maryland as Executive Director, ​t​he Y in Druid Hill. Jayson previously served as the Associate Executive Director of the Y in Reston, Virginia where he led Membership, Swim, Health/Wellness, Early Childhood, Camp and Before/After School Enrichment operations. Jayson is passionate about the Y’s work and mission and enjoys working for an organization that touches the lives of so many individuals from all walks of life. Says Jayson, “I am blessed to work daily with associates and members ​who​ truly feel like family.”

Jayson looks forward to showcasing the historic excellence of the Y in Druid Hill ​and assure it​ remains a critical part of its members’ lives while finding new ways to reach as many people as possible.

Other than his passion for the Y, Jayson likes to spend time cooking, reading, watching and critiquing movies, and playing card and board games with his family. In addition to 20 years of broad-based management experience in and out of the Y, Jayson has a bachelor’s degree from the Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of NYC.
